Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless families, friends, and communities forever changed by that day.
We also honor the extraordinary courage of the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, Port Authority officers, and other first responders who ran toward danger when every instinct must have told them to run away.
They entered the World Trade Center knowing the risks, driven by a simple and profound commitment to help others. Many gave their lives that day. Many more suffered illness and loss in the years that followed.
At Uniform Tactical Supply, we have the privilege of serving members of the first responder community every day. On September 11, we remember what the uniforms they wear truly represent: service, courage, sacrifice, and the willingness to put the lives of others before their own.
We will never forget those we lost.
We will never forget those who ran toward the danger.
And we will never forget the families who carry their memory forward.
