Constructed from 12-ounce 80/20 cotton and polyester super-weight fleece, the 870-T provides substantial warmth for cool firehouses, apparatus bays, outdoor assignments, inspections, training, and everyday station wear. Its generous Sure-Fit cut allows room for comfortable movement while accounting for expected shrinkage after washing.

The brass-zip turtleneck design provides adjustable coverage around the neck and makes it easy to regulate warmth throughout the shift. A redesigned placket with a canvas twill zipper stop adds durability and helps reinforce a frequently used area of the garment.

Cotton twill tape at the collar improves strength while providing greater comfort against the neck. Set-in sleeves, knit cuffs, and a knit bottom band create a secure fit that helps retain warmth without restricting movement.

A nine-inch-deep canvas twill radio pocket on the right chest provides practical storage for a portable radio or other duty equipment. The pocket uses a hook-and-loop closure to help keep equipment secure and also incorporates an Easy-Access hidden cell phone pocket for discreet personal storage.
