Built for demanding duty environments where protection from both the elements and workplace hazards matters, the Original S.W.A.T. Metro 9" WP Side-Zip Safety combines waterproof construction, composite safety-toe protection, and all-day support in a professional 9-inch tactical boot.

The action leather and nylon upper provides a balance of durability and flexibility, while the polishable heel and toe help maintain a professional uniform appearance. A HydroGuard waterproof full bootie helps keep feet dry in wet conditions, and the boot is also bloodborne pathogen resistant—an important feature for law enforcement, EMS, corrections, and other public-safety professionals.

For additional workplace protection, the Metro 9" WP Side-Zip Safety features a CSA-approved composite safety toe meeting ASTM F2413-18 requirements. The non-metallic construction provides lightweight protection without the weight associated with traditional steel toes. Electrical Hazard protection exceeds ASTM F2413-18 standards.

A YKK® Vislon® side zipper with hook-and-loop closure makes the boot quick and convenient to put on and remove while allowing the laces to remain adjusted for a consistent fit.

Underfoot, a removable EVA insole and custom-molded phylon EVA midsole provide cushioning and support for long shifts. The Texon stability platform enhances lateral support and torsional rigidity, while an airport-friendly nylon shank adds support without introducing a metal shank.

The durable Metro rubber outsole is slip and oil resistant, non-marking, and designed with waffle traction and ladder-grip control. It meets ASTM F2913-19 testing requirements for slip resistance.
