The Original S.W.A.T. Metro Air 9" Side-Zip Duty Boot is built for law enforcement and public safety professionals who spend long shifts working on pavement, concrete, and other hard surfaces. Combining a professional uniform appearance with athletic-inspired cushioning and support, the Metro Air 9" is an excellent choice for patrol officers, security professionals, corrections personnel, and other uniformed professionals who need dependable all-day footwear.

A combination action leather and 1000 denier nylon upper provides durability without unnecessary bulk, while the polishable heel and toe help maintain an inspection-ready appearance. A durable YKK® Vislon® side zipper makes getting the boots on and off fast and convenient, with a hook-and-loop tab helping secure the zipper during wear.

Comfort is one of the Metro Air's defining features. A visible heel air bag helps absorb impact during long periods of walking and standing, while a custom-molded Phylon EVA midsole provides lightweight cushioning and support. The removable EVA insole can also be replaced with a preferred aftermarket footbed or compatible orthotic.

For additional stability, the Metro Air 9" incorporates a Texon stability platform, nylon shank, molded heel counter, and molded toe box. Its entirely non-metallic construction also makes the boot airport friendly, which is particularly useful for law enforcement, security, and other personnel who routinely pass through screening areas.

Underfoot, the Metro rubber outsole is slip and oil resistant and non-marking, with waffle-pattern traction and ladder-grip control. The outsole meets ASTM F2913-24 testing requirements for slip resistance.
