Rothco Generation III Level 3 ECWCS Fleece Jacket

Rothco Generation III Level 3 ECWCS Fleece Jacket

The Rothco Generation III Level 3 ECWCS Fleece Jacket delivers lightweight warmth and versatile layering performance in a design inspired by the U.S. military's Extended Cold Weather Clothing System. Designed as an insulating mid-layer for cold-weather conditions, this military-style fleece jacket can be worn underneath outerwear or on its own during cool weather.

The Level 3 fleece design provides warmth without the bulk of a heavy winter coat, making it a practical choice for tactical personnel, outdoor enthusiasts, work crews, range use, hiking, camping, and everyday cold-weather wear.

Its full-zip design makes layering and temperature regulation easy, while functional pockets provide convenient storage for everyday essentials. Reinforced areas help increase durability in high-wear locations, making the jacket well suited for active outdoor and professional use.

Whether you're assembling a cold-weather layering system or simply looking for a comfortable military-inspired fleece jacket, the Rothco Generation III Level 3 ECWCS Fleece Jacket offers a practical combination of warmth, mobility, and rugged styling.

Part of a Cold-Weather Layering System

The Extended Cold Weather Clothing System, commonly known as ECWCS, was developed around the concept of layering clothing according to activity level and environmental conditions.

Level 3 serves as an insulating fleece layer, providing additional warmth while allowing the wearer to combine it with base layers and protective outer garments as conditions require.

That versatility makes an ECWCS-style fleece useful well beyond military applications. It can serve as a practical mid-layer for outdoor work, training, hiking, camping, range use, travel, and everyday winter wear.
