The Taylor’s Leatherwear DPD69Z Detroit Cowhide Leather Vintage Style Motorcycle Jacket combines classic police motorcycle styling with the durability, comfort, and mobility expected from a professional leather duty jacket. Constructed from soft yet durable top-grain, drum-dyed black cowhide, the Detroit delivers an authentic vintage appearance backed by rugged construction for motorcycle, duty, and everyday wear.

A bi-swing (drop-shoulder) back provides enhanced freedom of movement, while motorcycle-cut sleeves are approximately 1 inch longer than Taylor’s standard jacket sleeves for better coverage in the riding position. Zippered sleeves feature knit 1x1 nylon storm cuffs for added protection and comfort.

For cold-weather versatility, the Detroit includes a removable 3M™ Thinsulate™ quilted zip-out liner. Traditional uniform details include shoulder epaulettes with snap closures and three eyelets set into the breast pocket flap for badge attachment.
