All the metal parts and including the blade, crossguard and pommel are stonewashed for protection against wear and extra corrosion resistance. The tactile Kraton rubber handle give a contemporary touch compared to the traditional leather washers used on similar knives. The thick (0.24"") 6.4"" AUS-8 clip point blade is topped off with the same blade grind as the original SOG Bowie.
